He was charming.
And funny – so funny.
Funny is important to her.
Handsome too.
Snappy dresser!
“All The Girls Are Crazy ’bout a Sharp Dressed Man.”
The song was prancing in her head as she smiled back at him.
He was eloquent, smart and polished.
What more could a girl ask for?
Soooo much.
She wishes it wasn’t so.
She wishes she could settle,
but she knows better.
She knows the hunger will surface…
the carnal ache will give her no rest…
the dark cravings will demand attention…
and he will disappoint her.
She knows, one sad, bitter, cold day, she would break his heart,
so she walked away.
She did not look back –
and tonight she is tired…
Very, very tired…

Exactly.
Having those who understand … a blessing!
So very true…sigh…
The note above applies here as well, of course, and the … sigh… says it all…
Holy crap … that was the next set of lyrics that I was going to release on my blog .. ZZ Top, Sharp Dressed Man. Too funny … and great post. 🙂
Thank you. You should post them regardless. Such a clever song. I just used that one line because it was buzzing through my head as I (sadly) looked at him.
I don’t know about him. But me ~ I can’t help myself but be submissive to the divine feminine. It keeps happening. I can’t help myself. You’ve got to help me, Maggie. You’ve got to help me! How – can – I – get – more – dominant?

Thank you for your patience…
Clyde, my dear, one must be true to their nature. There’s nothing ‘wrong’ with feeling submissive to the divine feminine. We females are divine creatures, and your desire for us is marvelous – it’s just a different form of worship than that which is shown by a Dominant.
Go with what works, then it will be real and satisfying. One day you might find you want to show your adoration through Domination, and the next day through submission. It’s all good – as long as it’s honest. At least, that’s my two cents.
Absolutely priceless! Thank you so much, Ms. Goddess of Endless Absolute Wonder before whom I so prayerfully melt… to night. Tomorrow it might be a different story entirely…
My goodness me… I’m speechless. Thank you sweet man, and Good Night for now.
Found your link from a recommendation by Joseph McNamara, and this is lovely. Wow.
How kind of you to say – and Thank You Joseph!
